About eight months ago, I began receiving cold sales calls from multiple phone numbers. These calls have been originating from automated dialers, all trying to sell LifeShield. The messages on these calls are all very similar, leading me to conclude that they all come from the same company. The phone being called has been on the national do-not-call registry for many years. Upon receiving the calls, I would either: press the button indicated by to stop calls from this company; or speak with the live person and ask them to stop calling me.
After eight months of almost daily calls from the same company and after filing multiple FTC complaints over these months, the calls continue.
Conducting an internet search for the originating numbers gets literally thousands of hits on web sites listing consumer blogs and complaints regarding these numbers.
As a result, I believe that it is appropriate to add information to this page regarding long-term habitual illegal and annoying business practices being exercised by LifeShield either directly, or through it's business partners.
