This "advertisement" has resided here long enough. It is time to delete it. Other industry related organizations have had articles written in much better form than this yet have been deleted as advertising very quickly... why has this particular article been allowed to sit here for 4 years. Nothing has been added to this article in 2 years... the originator couldn't even be bothered to add the definition of the abbreviated name of ASIS. Come on Wikipedia... you are usually much better than this.Greywolf (talk) 16:36, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
- It is notable by our standards so it would fail an AfD, but if you look at its history you'll see I removed a lot of copyvio from it. Dougweller (talk) 17:08, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
Came here to find out was ASIS stands for, didn't find it. Seems like basic info that should be included in this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.147.239.132 (talk) 20:34, 5 February 2013 (UTC)
ASIS used to stand for the "American Society for Industrial Security". However, they dropped that name, and the full name is now "ASIS International". Ottawa42 (talk) 12:45, 23 March 2015 (UTC)
