I have never communicated with Wikipedia before, so bear with me for not logging in. I didn't know how and it didn't seem intuitive how to do it. Nor was it clear how to edit a page or access the talk page.

I was researching the parameters defining motorcycle racinng classes. Thank God for Wikipedia as there is precious little redily available. The AMA website for example talks around racing and various rules governing AMA sponsored events, but doesn't simply define basic terms such as what a superbike is. MotoGP does the same. You were my savior.

But note, I didn't search for FIM or MotoGP or AMA Supersport racing classes. my search term was simply "Supersport racing classes". And I came on AMA Supersport and the ominous 'this message will self-detruct in five seconds' warning. STOP! If one enters a serach as I did then respond with a simple article that there are two broad categories of Supersport racing with their names (links to both) and perhaps a brief common history if there is one. I am new to wikipedia and would like to expand on this topic. I have attended an AMA Supersport Championship race at Road Atlanta in Georgia before and know somewhat the logistics of the race. My research will begin on the AMA and then move too the actual championship to increase the amount of information on the topic. I plan to add information that includes the winners from past years, the best finishes, the locations of each year, the ticket prices, vendor information, and also how many were in attendance each year.
