Hello reader, I hope this finds you well. I was wondering if you agree with me by removing the redirect to A roads in Zone 3 of the Great Britain numbering scheme. This is because when Ritchie333 redirected the page in February 2018 (6½ years ago), the reason for the redirect was because the road was a non-notable track in the middle of nowhere; redirect. However, when Chidgk1 proposed to redirect the A508 road page in May 2023 (1¼ years ago, due to the page being not notable, Rschen7754 stopped them in their tracks by reverting this PROD because Chidgk1 failed to provide any prior justification for their proposal, of which the same applies to the A346 road page; when looking at this article talk page, Ritchie333 failed to provide any justification for deleting the page. Furthermore, like JMF stated over at the A508 road scenario, unless there is an overall proposal to delete all three- and four-figure A-class roads (which is unlikely), it is not obvious what singles the A508 out for special treatment, and the same things applies to the A346 - due to the two reasons I just stated, I cannot see what singles out the A346 or A508 for special treatment, compared with the other hundred or so Wikipedia articles about three-digit and four-digit roads in the UK, as you only need to add a handful of references to the article. If I don't hear anything back in the next few days, then I will more than likely remove the redirect. Regards, Roads4117 (talk) 08:26, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Given the article was boldly redirected six years ago, I would be bold and undo that redirect. If anyone has any objections, they can take the article to AfD. Garuda3 (talk) 11:16, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
