Carlos

[edit]

The text is calling the A-Sqaud leader the third hispanic Red Ranger. After Rocky and Carlos. But Carlos was never a Red Ranger or am I mistaken? 87.164.11.98 (talk) 02:03, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Names

[edit]

It has generaly be accpected that the names of the other 4 rangers are Beevor, Ivan, Cliff, and Rachel. Now I belive they should be mentioned in the articals, but should be mentioned as the "fan" names.

No, it shouldn't. The purpose of Wikipedia is to be a resource of factual information, not fanwank that you and your buddies came up with. "Scotts" is generally accepted by the fanbase as Jen's last name because it has been established from actual scripts that it was her last name. The same can be said about "Cranston" with regards to Billy. Backstage verifiable information, not fanwank... - The Dragonmaster 23:39, 16 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You should also put into accound that when the Akira class starship first appeared in Star Trek First Contact, it was never given a name. Fans started calling it the Akira class for some reason, and it was eventualy given that name. Now if you talk to any power ranger fan on the net, especially on www.rangerboard.com, the common names for the A-Squad are Beevor, Cliff, Ivan, and Rachel. I think this page should represent that fan base of accepted names. And FYI, I don't appreciated being called "pathetic" because of my views or thoughts.

You STILL don't get it. There has been VERIFICATION by PARAMOUNT that the ship class is called Akira-class. There has been NO VERIFICATION from either Buena Vista/Disney (who owns the damned series) or Bruce Kalish (the Executive Producer of the show) as to the names of the A-Squad members. The only VERIFIABLE name is Charlie. She's the only one! THE ONLY ONE! You just don't get it. - The Dragonmaster 02:07, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bruce Kalish was actually told about the names and liked them. Shouldn't the fan names be AT LEAST mentioned? RedManiac2 03:05, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Either way I don't understand why you have to be so rude when somebody suggests the use of the fan names it's not like he/she did anthing wrong by stating an opinion, besides the United Alliance of Evil is teechnically a fan term. It was only mentioned once, in passing during Zeo. Fandom gave it teh broad use it has today, therefore I think that the fandom A-Squad names deserve a mention but only if clearly stated that they are FAN names and NOT offical. If there are no complaignts by the end of the week I'll change the article to fit this, if you later have complaingnts feel free to discuss here
