Odd price

[edit]

@AdrianHObradors: Why is it unnecessary to mention psychological pricing? How was the price determined? AFAIK there are no €9 banknotes or coins. ‑‑ K (🗪 | ) 18:18, 13 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Kai Burghardt, to me it feels unrelated, it isn't about the ticket. Also, unsourced and possibly OR? — AdrianHObradors (talk) 16:58, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@AdrianHObradors: Well, the pricing policy is absolutely related to the ticket. I’m afraid we won’t find any source corroborating the claim “We think our constituents are morons and let themselves fool by the difference €9 vs. €10.” but it’s almost certainly motivated by psychological pricing. Or are there any official budget calculations stating “the best price would be €8.7634” which politicians rounded to €9? ‑‑ K (🗪 | ) 14:50, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Kai Burghardt, I do not know, it would be nice to add it if there are any sources to be found. But I also don't think the proper way to do it is by wikilinking [9 euros]. — AdrianHObradors (talk) 18:41, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
