I believe we should merge the article 89th Commando Battalion here because the article about the battalion covers material that isn't in this article, but should be anyway. The 89th Battalion was a major part of the 8th Brigade and it's hard to talk about them as separate entities. Moreover, a battalion, is generally too small a unit to be notable, and while a huge article can be written about this one's exploits, there isn't that much information on its organization, specific doctrine, insignia, etc. —Ynhockey(Talk)15:29, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
