Dominikhašek or Dominikhasek?

The JPL pages (JPL) omit the diacritics, but those entries have been known to be wrong before. The IPA pages are more trustworthy (I've exchanged correspondence with the main data keeper there, and he tells me the IPA slavishly follows the diacritics specified in the Minor Planet Circulars): See http://www.ipa.nw.ru/PAGE/DEPFUND/LSBSS/ALF/d.htm (now moved to http://www.ipa.nw.ru/PAGE/FUNDAMENTAL/LSBSS/englenam.htm ). See also http://www.astro.cz/planetky/detail.phtml?number=8217. The Schmadel page also has the diacritics: http://www.rzuser.uni-heidelberg.de/~s21/minor.planets/numbers.htm.

The only way to tell for sure one way or another would be to get the actual MPC 31613, but the Minor Planet Circulars are not available on-line. Urhixidur 02:36, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
