Support Group during Brevity
[edit]The Official History states that during Operation Brevity the Support Group was out on the desert flank operation 3 Jock Columns with the 7th Armoured Brigade group in a mission of seek and destroy.
However the King's Royal Rifle Corps offical regiment history states that after several small scale unit actions before Brevity they were withdrawn from the front line and it then appears they again took an active role with there unit for Battleaxe.
So with the infantry battalion out of the picture, does anyone know what the Support Group was made up of during Brevity?
