Based on the description and the image of an M4A3E2 Sherman here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M4_Sherman - the tank image shown on this page quite obviously isn't an M4A3E2 - probably an M4A3.

Also, is there any reference confirming this tank was actually part of the 746th Tank Battalion, as the original source doesn't specify this?
