15 February 2021 Changes
[edit]Polymath03 Changes on this date went far beyond the description of the changes and many were not called for.
- Insertion of unneeded blank spaces in the infobox does nothing but use server space
- The linked terms in the lead (and the body for that matter) are appropriately linked. Also, even if there were a strong reason to use F-100 Super Sabre, not North American F-100 Super Sabre, the preferred method would be to use a redirect, rather than a "piped" link. I.e. [[F-100 Super Sabre]], not [[North American F-100 Super Sabre|F-100 Super Sabre]]. This applies elsewhere, and looks a bit like WP:IDONTLIKEIT.
- You eliminated a number of useful links for apparently no reason.
- I've restored other edits you made. Also, I put your change in the External links section into an appropriate format.
- User:Lineagegeek Thanks for letting me know -- had no idea the infobox blank spaces were kept, rather than auto-stripped. For future reference, could you point me to an example of a non-LEADLINK-compliant lead? I'm apparently mistaken on what constitutes too many links. Polymath03 (talk) 04:35, 22 February 2021 (UTC)
