Typo of ambiguous intent

[edit]

The article states

7.5×54mm MAS 1924-M29, due to the original cartridge being very similar in size and appearance to the German 7.92×57mm Mauser. As a result a French soldier could potentially chamber a 7.92x57mm cartridge (which were also in fairly widespread use by the French military eg in machine guns obtained as war reparations) and cause a massive failure if fired in a rifle designed for the less powerful and smaller calibre 7.5x57mm(sic)

That last part states 7.5x57mm, which is not talked about earlier. 7.5x54mm and 7.92x57mm are. I can reason out from both the beginning of the sentence and the "smaller calibre" that 7.54x54mm was likely intended. But I'm not sure which source, if any, this sentence is based on, and if that correction, simply based on seeming intent, would be considered original research. The sentence, as is, is pretty obviously incorrect though.
