1987 General Election
[edit]If my memory is correct then the 6.57 crew put up a fringe candidate in the 1987 general election to stand in the Portsmouth constituency covering Fratton Park. Candidate went by the name of "Docker" Hughes and "Vote Docker 6.57" graffiti appeared around the city. I seem to remember him appearing in the local press and stating that one of their "campaign" aims was to have duty-free booze sold on the Gosport Ferry. 199.168.151.162 (talk) 15:58, 1 July 2015 (UTC)

Graham Hurley
[edit]The 6.57 Crew gets frequent mention in the Portsmouth-set crime novels, featuring DI Joe Faraday, of Graham Hurley. Main villain Bazza Mackenzie is a former prominent member (who intended to stand for Parliament on the "Pompey First" ticket in one book). Mr Larrington (talk) 22:48, 22 July 2016 (UTC)
