I have found contradictory information as to the assignment of a Colonel Mansfield of the Continental Army
[edit]I have found contradictory information as to the assignment of a Colonel Mansfield of the Continental Army. Based on this document, Mansfield was in charge of the 19th Regiment. It also appears that Colonel John Nixon was in charge of the 5th Regiment from at least April 24th through December 1775.
