Kucheryavy takes up post as Urals Air Force, Air Defense Army commander

MOSCOW. July 10 [2007](Interfax-AVN) - Lieutenant General Mikhail Kucheryavy is to take up his post as the new commander of the Urals Air Force and Air Defense Forces Army during a visit by Air Force Commander-in-Chief Colonel General Alexander Zelin on July 10-12.

Zelin will inspect units, participating in an integrated tactical exercise.

The former commander of the Urals Air Force and Air Defense Forces Army, Lieutenant General Vadim Volkovitsky, was promoted to the post of Deputy Air Force Commander-in-Chief for Air Defense. Buckshot06 (talk) 02:23, 27 October 2023 (UTC)
