Ed Mayne - Represented District 11 before District 5
[edit]According to the Utah Legislative website Ed Mayne represented the 11th District from 1995 to 2002 and the 5th District from 2003 to 2007 when he passed away and his wife was appointed to replace him. In 2001 the Utah Legislature redistricted State Senate districts. This redistricting took effect during the 2002 election. It was at this time that Ed Mayne started to represent the 5th District and not the 11th. It's possible that District 11 covered the same geographical area as District 5 and only underwent a numbering change. If you aware of this please include it in the 5th District and 11th District articles under a History section. Edward Lalone | (Talk)
