  • Just wondering, isn't there a Company "J"?
    • There's not, ACW regiment skipped "J" to prevent confusion with "I"
  • link Siege of Corinth (1st battle of Corinth), since you talk about the second battle.
    • I did a piped link with "evacuated Corinth", is that what you had in mind.
  • The first three sentences in "early service" are kinda short. Could you make them into two?
    • Done
  • Do you say that an army routs or is routed? I'm not used to the spelling of "The Union line was defended by men of Davies' division, who quickly routed."
    • Changed to "..., who were quickly routed by the Confederate charge". Is that better?
  • If there were 192 dead, wounded, or missing out of 547, is that really "heavy losses" in military terms at the time? Or were already less men then that at the time of the battle?
    • Removed heavy as a subjective statement
  • I'm confused: You seem to say that the regiment was captured after surrender in Vicksburg, but then you list engagements that the regiment took part in the next year. And then you say the the regiment was captured at Fort Blakely.
    • Oops, I forgot to mention the fact that they went through the prisoner exchange process, that's kinda important.
  • Is there a navbox of confederate infantry regiments?
    • There's not, unfortunately. A lot of the Confederate regimental pages don't even exist yet.

That's all for me. L293D ( • ) 03:24, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
