Wrong title?

I believe the article title is wrong. I don't live in York but have visited and looked at about a dozen internet sources and maps. All sources show it is "Shambles" not "The Shambles". Visitors do say "The Shambles" but surely visitor error doesn't mean we make that the title? So the title should be 45 Shambles. OK, I understand. However the "The Shambles" article title is also wrong so not something to copy, in my view. Nevertheless I'll not pursue the matter because I spend my time on Wikipedia adding pictures. Thanks for replying - Arpingstone (talk) 10:38, 19 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
