Language in infobox

[edit]

TropicAces completed the language field in the infobox with "Polish", with this citation. That citation describes the film as a "Polish erotic thriller", which it is: it is a film made by a Polish-led team. It doesn't say the film's principal language is Polish. I thus removed. TropicAces has now restored without further explanation.

TropicAces: this citation does not demonstrate what language the film is in. Netflix's audio track data appears to describe the film as being in English. There are passages of the film in Polish (when the Polish characters are talking to each other), passages in Italian (when the Italian characters are talking to each other) and passages in English (Laura and Massimo's interactions). Putting "Polish" alone in the infobox is neither correct, nor sourced. Bondegezou (talk) 21:29, 19 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

the source does say “main language: Polish” if you click the “Details” tab. It’s even the website cited on Wikipedia’s Template:Infobox film as the ideal source for citing languages (exact quote: "Insert the language primarily used in the film. Databases often give every language spoken within the film, even if they only reflect a few lines in the overall script. The BBFC website is a good resource for the main language used in the film. Only in rare cases of clearly bilingual or multilingual films..."). Hope this clears things up. TropicAces (talk) 21:46, 19 June 2020 (UTC)tropicAces[reply]
Thank you for the explanation. I had not seen that the Details tab expanded. Bondegezou (talk) 17:42, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
