ULA TDs
[edit]Should we perhaps mark ULA seats by simply putting (ULA) in brackets after the name of their main party? It seems silly to have them listed in the infobox and not mention who is actually part of the organisation. I'll wait to see if there are any objections before I do it. --Danfly (talk) 09:39, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
Ceann Comhairle
[edit]At what pointdo we remove the Ceann Comhairle designation from Seamus Kirk? He won automatic re-election as Ceann Comhairle, yes, but this article is about the 31st Dail and he won't be Ceann Comhairle in the 31st Dail. Msclguru (talk) 01:16, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
- We don't as he was elected/returned as the CC but tomorrow (9 March), a changes table can be added to show the new CC. See Members of the 30th Dáil#Changes for the format.
Parties and not Parties
[edit]"Composition of the 31st Dáil: I'm not sure Clare Daly's (and Joan Collins's) UL need be mentioned here, no more than Lucinda Crighton's Reform Alliance, or Mick Wallace's Independents for Equality"
the United Left and the Anti-Austreity Alliance and the Independent for Equality Movement are all registered parties for the Dail http://www.oireachtas.ie/parliament/media/veronica/Register-of-Political-Parties-16-September-2014.doc the Reform Alliance is not a registered party.
Paul Murphy ran for under the AAA banner and should be listed as such there still ony two 2 Socialist Party members in the Dail — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.45.123.145 (talk) 18:22, 14 October 2014 (UTC)
- Paul Murphy ran under the AAA but is listed by the Oireachtas website as a Socialist Party TD. Snappy (talk) 17:40, 15 October 2014 (UTC)
The Oireachtas have now fixed that mistake http://www.oireachtas.ie/members-hist/default.asp?housetype=0&HouseNum=31&PartyId=51 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.45.123.145 (talk) 20:40, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
