Two GA nominations are currently in the albums category from you, so I thought I'd take one of them on. --K. Peake 17:14, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Quick fail

[edit]

It saddens me to do this, but the article simply is way too far from meeting the GA criteria. Firstly, it is miles off being broad in coverage, not having any sections for music or reception and yes I have read the talk page, but not every single article can become a GA; some just do not have enough information about them so can't be expanded properly for GA status. Second of all, the lead is poorly written and finally, the prose in the body is definitely poor too. Maybe renominate at a later date when there has been sufficient coverage of the topic to get the article up to the required criteria. --K. Peake 17:42, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Kyle Peake thanks for taking it on. I'm not surprised - I thought I'd use this as an acid test to see whether topics of limited coverage but with the potential to be written well would be able to pass GA. Unfortunately Derulo left his label, there was no promotion for the album. Seems like it was more about completing contractual obligations. Fully accepting and expectant of this outcome. ≫ Lil-Unique1 -{ Talk }- 18:35, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Lil-unique1 Thanks for replying even after the failure, I am glad you took it professionally and it is an understandable experiment; song/album articles need to have information about the actual music and lyrics at all times. --K. Peake 18:45, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
