[edit]Thanks for making this talk page. Wasn't sure how to communicate correctly what the problem was/is... We currently use 2Clix and have invested over $80,000 in it. We can't afford to simply start again with another software package as the costs would near kill us. To this end we have been having extensive discussions with their ex IT manager and the new support team to ensure that we continue to get help where needed. Our understanding is that the 3 companies are completely separate. ie 2Clix is dead (For reasons everyone wants to speculate on..), and Platinum One bought the 2Clix customer base and support services. They kept a number of the support people from the old 2Clix company and effectively removed everyone else including all the management and directors bar 1. This is logical because no one else would be able to offer support on this package, which to date has been OK. Certainly an improvement from previously. The company structures as we understand it, are purely marketing type structures, ie a franchise. Platinum One software comes from the USA and is currently being Australianised. The look is also being made similar to 2Clix as Platinum One doesn’t want extensive training cost associated with the changeover as the change is free to current customers All current 2Clix customers, thankfully are being supported by Platinum One. Total ERP Software is a completely separate company and software package that we can also take up. It is also here under a franchise agreement with the owners, we think in Ireland. ie it has nothing to do with 2Clix or Platinum One. I think there is a cost to take up this package. My point is that I believe that there are a couple of thousand users of 2Clix and should Platinum One not continue to support these users then we have lost $80,000 and we are only one company, how much will all the others lose. Associating any other company with the 2Clix failure will only send them down the same path, which no-one wins. Staff lose jobs, we lose support.
- Unfortunately for you wikipedia is not about your software support or the jobs of those at 2clix, but rather about the matter of fact. So censoring this article to remove this association is not something I believe would be appropriate, especially since this new company appears to exclusively sell the same software package. Anyone else care to comment? Muzzamo (talk) 14:30, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
2Clix versus Platinum one versus Total ERP Software?
[edit]I noticed that someone keeps removing information about "Total ERP Software" from this page without explaining the edit. I invite said person to provide their explanation here. --DachannienTalkContrib 03:52, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
- I've reverted this several times. They are clearly trying to remove association with 2Clix. Unfortunately this is factual and the internet will follow them wherever they go Muzzamo (talk) 06:12, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
- reverted again.. they even tried to censor the talk page... Am going to consider asking for semi protection soon Muzzamo (talk) 12:49, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
- I have added a {{fact}} to one area that needs varification, just incase we are actually associating the company with one it is not associated with. Fosnez (talk) 07:37, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
