Name
So, which to use as the name? 26th (Cameronian) Regiment; 26th (The Cameronian) Regiment; 26th (Cameronians) Regiment; 26th Regiment (Cameronians)? I'm inclined towards the first, but I'm not sure any of them were definably "correct". Shimgray | talk | 11:09, 4 October 2009 (UTC)
War of the Austrian Succession
According to Baker, p. 251, they were at the Battle of Rocoux, in 1746, near Liege. According to Mitchell, they were in Minorca at the time and nothing exciting happened. Hmm. I suspect Baker's in error. Shimgray | talk | 17:35, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
