Movie title
[edit]I am not finding any reference for this connection. In the 1967 UCLA vs. USC football game, "23 Blast" was the audible run play for O. J. Simpson's 64 yard game-winning touchdown. I will add a ref from a modern youth football drill that explains it. Group29 (talk) 15:03, 26 October 2014 (UTC)
- If anyone was wondering, since it was removed, "23 Blast" is the name of a football play, in which the quarterback hands off to the running back, who attempts to go through a hole in the defensive line.[1] In the 1967 UCLA vs. USC football game, "23 Blast" was the audible run play for O. Major Edits Needed
[edit]I am a student editor at Texas A&M University and have been assigned to edit this article. I will be making my edits in increments, in a sandbox, over the next two weeks, before publishing my edits to the main article. This article needs a significant rewrite. The content outside of the Plot section does not feel like Wikipedia style. The cast section does not need an analysis of each character, that could potentially be its own section or integrated into the plot. The paragraphs on cast selection also needs a rewrite. The Development section is currently another plot summary and with the right sourcing, can be integrated into the plot summary. I will also make edits to the Themes section, as it does not seem to follow Wikipedia guidelines on original thought and advocacy. It feels like a "soapbox." I will post here on edits I will make as the need arises.--Rob.spradling (talk) 00:49, 2 March 2021 (UTC)
I made major structural edits and copy edits. Made a Inspiration section, edited the two paragraphs in the Cast section, making them one paragraph, and moved them to the pre production section, edited the pre production and moved it to Development, removed the character description from the Cast section. I edited several paragraphs that had too much verbiage and made them more Wiki style. The next edits I will make will be edits to make the rest of the article more wiki style.Rob.spradling (talk) 00:09, 22 March 2021 (UTC)
I made significant rewrites and edits the structure of the article was a little off. I moved the information about the casting to the Cast section and removed the Pre Production sub section. I heavily edited the Themes and Inspiration sections for more Wiki style and encyclopedic tone. I removed a lot of seemingly biased language that was not relevant to the article. The article previously did not comply with Wikipedia guidelines and felt very "soap boxy" and biased. The edits I made were somewhat drastic, but helped with the overall quality of the article.Rob.spradling (talk) 18:49, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
