Too much emphasis on the first half of the century.
[edit]The entire post-WW2 coverage is smaller than the interwar, which is a third of the time. Zazaban (talk) 23:31, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

A list not an article
[edit]Shouldn't this be renamed List of 20th-century literature (actually it is most English literature, with a very few other nationalities represented). Rwood128 (talk) 22:49, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
- User:Me, Myself, and I are Here your advice would be appreciated here. There are a series of century-articles like this, which makes my pause, though this one is a list. Rwood128 (talk) 10:29, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Rwood128. I am not the most knowledgeable in this area, but in my experience, literature-related century-based list-class articles (19th century in literature, 21st century in literature etc.) are all named that way. Films have a slightly different naming scheme (1900s in film is a list, but 19th century in film isn't). That's a good point about the preponderance of English literature in this list, though. It might be helpful to add some examples from other languages/nationalities. Me, Myself & I (☮) (talk) 18:39, 14 May 2016 (UTC)
- Me, Myself thanks. It's just that it looks like a list and basically is a poor article. I'll move on. Rwood128 (talk) 19:13, 14 May 2016 (UTC)

Titles Mislabeled
[edit]Burmese Days and All Quiet on the Western Front are both novels, yet both are listed as "non-fiction". Unless their mislabeling serves some sort of purpose, this should be changed.--NimRenouf (talk) 20:27, 3 March 2018 (UTC)
