Civil war only?
[edit]The 20th Kansas also served in the Philippines during the Spanish American War and the Philippine War in 1898-99 (http://www.amazon.com/Philippine-War-1899-1902-Modern-Studies/dp/0700612254). However that was the "20th Kansas Volunteer Infantry Regiment" -- the name is slightly different, but the lineage would probably follow from one formation to another. Should the second 20th Kansas be the subject of a different article? E5z8652 (talk) 18:46, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
- The 20th Kansas Volunteer Infantry of the Spanish-American War is not related to this militia unit that only saw brief service of one month during the Civil War. It would be great to have an article about the 20th KVI as the unit saw a lot of action and performed very well. Spacini (talk) 02:39, 3 January 2010 (UTC)
