But several histories of the Battle of Berlin has the Divion listed as fighting in Berlin Beevor

- I had much the same thought. Indeed, the crossing of the Oder is generally taken as the beginning of the campaign for Berlin, which makes it difficult to see how the division was still fighting along the Oder in May. I guess they could have been encircled and trapped in a pocket, but I was under the impression that the division was in the thick of it in Berlin proper. German organization at that point was so chaotic, however, that I imagine parts of the division could have been both places.--172.162.212.57 (talk) 07:37, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
