Notice of Talk page discussion

[edit]

Bolivia flag

[edit]

FIFA uses the civil flag (example), but CONMEBOL and ESPN use the state flag here and here. Bolivia national football team mostly uses the civil flag, but not 100% consistently. I don't claim to know which is "correct," but this page probably isn't the right forum to make that determination. I recommend we use the default football flag on this page. If someone wants to argue that the civil flag should be used for football purposes, they are welcome to try to get it changed at Template:Country data Bolivia (which would automatically update it here and everywhere else it's used). Technically, use of the state flag of Bolivia for non-governmental purposes is not permitted. I will make a request there for the change. — Jkudlick ⚓ (talk) 02:01, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And the change has been made. — Jkudlick ⚓ (talk) 03:00, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Match numbers

[edit]

With the qualification process for this confederation now in its second half, match numbers can now be considered trivial and do not need to be reinserted. This is going in line with a previous discussion at Talk:2026 FIFA World Cup qualification – AFC third round#Specific matches in schedule table, which argued specific match pairings were also trivial. I do not see any reasoning for putting them back in after I removed them last month. Jalen Barks (Woof) 22:10, 5 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
