June 2024

[edit]

At least 5 of the 9 dead had gunshot wounds,[1] with the driver and conductor having multiples of them.[2] The driver was shot in the head,[3] and collapsed after being shot according to survivor, causing the bus to fall down the gorge.[4] The gunmen continued firing indiscriminately at the bus even after it crashed.[5] In what world this is not a massacre is beyond me. Further attacks

[edit]

The article mentions further attacks in Jammu Division after the Reasi attack. But they don't seem to be connected to it. What's the need for this? We are an encyclopaedia not a news org chronicling attacks. Linkin Prankster (talk) 12:32, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Linkin Prankster IMO, we should rename this page to something that more generally covers the recent cluster of attacks. Reasi is no longer being looked at in isolation. >>> Extorc.talk 19:12, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The other attacks aren't as noticeable and are only so much in the news because they came after the Reason attack. Linkin Prankster (talk) 03:51, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The other attacks are only notable because of the massacre in Reasi, yes, which is why I added them to the page in a subsection within the "aftermath" section. That much I believe is due. Most RS that covered the attacks connect them, at least in terms of timing, to Reasi. UnpetitproleX (talk) 21:14, 14 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Reasi, not Reason. Sorry. Linkin Prankster (talk) 11:04, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
