Splitting proposal

[edit]

I propose that we break this article in half. The aftermath section can stand alone as a 2024 Mozambican protests article since it is taking up most of the article at this point. Also it doesn't look like the protests are going to be slowing down any time soon so we might want more room to work with. My two cents is Support. Scuba 14:56, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I also support the creation of such a page. The demonstrations seems to have the necessary relevance to have its own article Troopasturbador (talk) 13:39, 5 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Support. The Mozambican protests in response to the election have become a notable event of the aftermath and, consequently, the nation's history. Cnscrptr (talk) 14:36, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Support. I am now having difficulty locating which part to insert protest stuff. Borgenland (talk) 14:53, 7 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I support this as well, since the protests themselves seem to be gaining traction and are most likely going to last for a considerable amount of time. The international press also has been covering the escalation of the protest and the crackdown by police versus the election itself, thus also giving a considerable amount of resources to work with. --PootisHeavy (talk) 00:00, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

(This is another user's submission: In my view it makes sense that it's considered the event as ongoing. (edit) I started a draft. (sorry i edited this page also because i dont really know how to comment here.
