Oppose as that, which presumably happened more than ten years ago, is unrelated to the current row. Oppose because the current scandal is in and of itself notable and deserving of its own article. The current scandal is happening now and involves the Labour Party. I'm not sure if a separate article (or perhaps a disambig page) involving other similar scandals in the UK is needed, but in any event, this article should remain, and with "2024" and "Labour" in its title.
