Lachie Charles

So Lachie's contract actually starts in 2025. So are we going to include him (and Rahmani) as being promoted to the first team this season or are we going to add them both on next season's page as that's when their contracts actually start? Ausfootballfan (talk) 10:37, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ah I missed that (and also Rahmani announcement). I'm a little confused to the meaning. Do they sign 3 year contracts starting in 2025/26 (so until end of 2027/28)? Or does the 3 year contract start now and only professional from 2025/26 (which would mean scholarship for this season?) --SuperJew (talk) 11:26, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If that's the case, it makes sense to add them only next season (as we did when Besart Berisha signed a pre-contract with Melbourne Victory or when Irankunda signed a pre-contract with Bayern Munich). I feel it's a little more complicated though in this case since it's not two different clubs, but rather youth and seniors of the club.
