Some issues
[edit]1. There are currently 357 municipalities in Norway, not 356. This is a recent change, and thus many relatively recent sources still list 356. I will add a source for this.
2. National party leaders are still included in the infobox even if they are not on the ballot. This is the custom for local elections in other countries; examples here and here. There is no reason to do it differently here. In some countries, the party leaders are not even on the ballot for parliamentary elections, but they are still displayed in the leadership field.
3. The mayors listed as elected have already been determined by the majorities in their local councils. If this should change for some reason, then we can change it here afterwards with ease. Joe Biden was still president-elect before he had been sworn in and was referred to as the incoming president. The same should therefore apply for these mayors, who are, for all intents and purposes, mayors-elect. The mayors-elect listed here are only those who have already obtained majorities and the support of their council, not just anyone who is leading or is currently in negotiations. That's an important distinction and is enough to list them as mayors-elect. Focus more on expanding the article instead of doubling the workload by removing information that will just have to be added again later. These are not predictions, these are actual determined outcomes of the election. Μαρκος Δ 00:32, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
- @ user:Μαρκος Δ, No mayor has been elected yet (during September 2023).--The wiki-article should not imply that (any mayor has been elected, during September 2023). 2001:2020:31D:A604:C192:7C17:A38:8BBC (talk) 20:15, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
"Mayor-elect", no
[edit]Please see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_Norwegian_local_elections#Results_in_the_most_populous_municipalities.--No mayor has yet been elected in 2023.--For now that section has some untruth; however, it is likely that they will get elected.--'Trivia': Did someone in 2019, have a deal regarding that a majority of representatives - would elect him (as mayor); and later, a majority of representatives chose a different mayor candidate (by the way, a female and former cabinet-member)? Yeah, it happened (at least) one time, during my 'career' as a reader of online local newspapers. 2001:2020:31D:A604:C192:7C17:A38:8BBC (talk) 19:57, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
