Not a political crisis

Does this event qualify to be called political crisis in the state? Or is it only a split in a political party? Anubhavklal (talk) 20:16, 7 July 2023 (UTC)

It is totally limited to a single party. We do not call 1964 split in the Communist Party of India as '1964 Indian political crisis'. -- Manasbose ^{(talk | edits)} 04:42, 8 July 2023 (UTC)

2023 Maharashtra political crisis → 2023 Nationalist Congress Party split – This is not a political crisis like 2019 or 2022 Maharashtra political crisis in which government formation was issue, in above cases at one instance government was formed after a long deadlock and at second ruling Maharashtra gov was collapsed. But in 2023 occasion none of this happened, just NCP unofficial got split. Sharad Pawar not expelled any rebel from the party yet. Just some people left the Pawar, the party president and joined with their opposition, so it's not the political crisis, so I suggested to move this article title. No need to have a "in" in the new name of the page. It's there is CPI's case because it has seen so many splits over the years. But that's not the case here. This is first split in NCP. So the name suggested by the requester is ok.Shaan Sengupta (talk) 12:17, 11 July 2023 (UTC)

  Oppose Move - I oppose this because since in this issue, more than two parties are involved in the crisis. Bharatiya Janata Party and Shiv Sena also participated in the crisis as he has made them ministers in the cabinet and also reportedly before the crisis they have went to Delhi as well. So there is no reason to change the name into 2023 split in Nationalist Congress Party and let it be remain the 2023 Maharashtra political crisis. VNC200 (talk) 08:18, 15 July 2023 (UTC)

  Would have been a political crisis if there had been a crisis on the government like the previous ones in 2019 and 2022. Here it is just an internal rebellion in the party.
