Prediction is a little messy
[edit]Hey so as I was reading, the prediction tab is messy because it isnt new-late or late-new its just everywhere and somehow the newest prediction is kinda just in the middle, should we fix this? Melofy (talk) 15:30, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
Presley possinly concedes
[edit]Some sources as of now, albeit I am not sure is true, claim that Presley has conceded to Reeves. Voting according to NYTimes claims 88% of the vote is submitted. In any case however, the voting number leans toward Reeves.
It is unknown at this time if Presley has any possibility of pulling back his conceding. 2601:601:A400:D4A0:7D6C:CDD1:3C95:AA91 (talk) 05:06, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
Possible new topic in article: Hinds County; Jackson running out of ballots.
[edit]Hello, I am the same anonymous user.
During this election, it would seem that in Hinds County (and if I may claim coincidentally) had run out of ballots in 5-12~ precincts. It is unknown how many voters specifically could not vote for a time or at all even.
Initially, more time was given for voting in the respective polls there, with some appeals from I believe voting rights groups and democratic party peoples [1] , however, the extension was refused; denied by a circuit judge, with the support of republican party groups. As of now the denial was 3 hours ago. [2]
In social media, specifically "X", there seems to be some backlash in regards to this ballot shortage, but the question remains if this may reach national ears and to a court in some sort.
This seems like a relatively important detail to add due to the downright confounding moment of a "ballot shortage". 2601:601:A400:D4A0:7D6C:CDD1:3C95:AA91 (talk) 05:14, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
- Wow..... 5 precincts had not enough ballots for a couple of minutes.... this would certainly swing a victory margin of 36000 votes as of right now. 2003:DA:C702:6000:3D7B:FC97:FAB3:434B (talk) 21:16, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
Thanks for reading, and thank you in advance if the details above are added into the main article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:601:A400:D4A0:7D6C:CDD1:3C95:AA91 (talk) 05:15, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
