Electoral system

[edit]

For the multimember districts, is partial block voting or plurality block voting used? That is to ask, do you get as many votes to cast as there are seats to fill, or do you just get one vote to cast? Criticalthinker (talk) 12:34, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Plurality block voting (as many votes to cast as there are seats to fill) as per local elections in England. Ytfc23 (talk) 18:43, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I didn't see this stated anywhere on the section of the article about local government in England or anywhere else. Might be worth a sentence in the various articles on the electoral systems for England if someone from there can find proper sourcing for the information. Thanks, again.
