Win Loss table

Round 4 2024.

Question about Notability.

TV/Radio commentators is meaningless trivia

Are you referring to game articles and templates? I would agree that far too much space has been given to this in the past in grand final articles and others, and I would personally include only the network/channel name as a record of broadcaster, with a mention of the oztam ratings. For what it's worth, the entire 2023 AFL finals series article needs looking at – it's poorly formatted, almost entirely unsourced and, to be honest, I can't help but wonder if it's even necessary. 4TheWynne (talk • contribs) 09:30, 27 September 2023 (UTC)

Agreed. If we used it to write one paragraph summaries of the games, it would be an appropriately encyclopedic article. But as long as the only content for each game is "this is the Xth time teams Y and Z have played in finals", it reads more like the AFL Record's pregame than an encyclopedia.
