First Team Squad
[edit]If we're not going to add the players returning from loans to the current squad because it's not July 1st, then we can't add İlkay Gündoğan either. The returning players have first team players contracts so therefore they are first team players. Whether they're not in the "plans" for 2023-24 is irrelevant. Also, "Made in La Masia" is a Barcelona marketing ploy and has no encyclopedic value. La Fuzion (K lo K) 12:30, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
- 1. Gündoğan has an official statement certifying that from July 1 he will be part of the first team. It is perfectly sourced. Can you provide any official statement or source that proves that Lenglet (for example) will be a Barça first team player again? Until July 1, these players can be transferred or loaned again. If you do not provide any source, please refrain from editing until July 1.
- 2. La Masia is a debate that we already had in the previous season and it was quite relevant. What is not at all relevant are the second nationalities. A consensus was established. The Penfield Homunculus (talk) 21:01, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
- Leglet and Umtiti have contracts until 30 June 2023. Dest is contracted until 30 June 2025. This is all sourced in past seasons. Players with contracts are on the First Team until they have been sold/loaned out. If you want to wait until July 1 then I get that, but to omit them from the squad because you're assuming they're not going to be part of the upcoming season has no encyclopedic purpose unless you are able to sourced it.
- Made in La Masia is a marketing ploy so how is that encyclopedic? Unless the article is specific on that, it should have no place in this article. Where is the link to that discussion?
- Also, I'm not going to keep this back and forth after this because I don't do ownership of articles... La Fuzion (K lo K) 23:32, 29 June 2023 (UTC)
- Umtiti has been terminated his contract on the last loaned day. Therefore, it has been more than proven that your editions were typical of a sports newspaper and never based on officialdom. Will you apologize for your justifications? The Penfield Homunculus (talk) 21:22, 30 June 2023 (UTC)
- @The Penfield Homunculus When the players come back from loan, are they not First Team players on July 1st? La Fuzion (K lo K) 02:22, 1 July 2023 (UTC)

After all of this, the players back from loan were added to the First Team as I stated. Good job... La Fuzion (K lo K) 11:59, 9 August 2023 (UTC)
Trincao¿?
[edit]Why don't we add Trincao as an Out transfer for 7M €? He was on loan and Sporting Club decided to pay his buy clause of 7M € at the end of season (1 july 2023) Mcsmp (talk) 22:07, 29 July 2023 (UTC)
- As of today, there is still no official announcement by any club. We do not know if the sale occurred before the end of the previous season or if the buyout clause was executed from July 1. The latest official releases talk about the loan agreement. The Penfield Homunculus (talk) 02:00, 30 July 2023 (UTC)
Chadi Riad
[edit]Why Chadi Riad not in loans out? --Mcsmp (talk) 15:41, 31 August 2023 (UTC)
