Another earthquake GAN! I should be able to review this later tonight/or tomorrow morning. ツLunaEatsTuna (💬)— 05:26, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
- That should be all! I have placed this article on hold for the time being. Please ping me once you have addressed my concerns so that I will know when to respond. Thanks, ツ LunaEatsTuna (💬)— 00:05, 23 February 2023 (UTC)
- @LunaEatsTuna Hi, I've made the changes listed. I don't think the date and time of the mainshock needs to be repeated in § Earthquake when it's mentioned in the lead and infobox. "Indonesian rupiah (Rp)" then subsequently using Rp should solve the issue; we don't use "[350 thousand] United States dollars" in article body, at least I don't. - Good call on the rupiah! As for the mainshock date it should be mentioned as the lead is the summary of the contents of an article itself. ツ LunaEatsTuna (💬)— 02:00, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
- @LunaEatsTuna Sure, it doesn't hurt to repeat the date I suppose. Dora the Axe-plorer (explore) 02:21, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
- Cool! Per all the changes implemented, I am now pleased to pass this article for GA status. Congrats as always on another fantastic earthquake article! ツ LunaEatsTuna (💬)— 02:29, 25 February 2023 (UTC)

Prose
[edit]- Wikilink foreshock and Mount Talakmau in the lead.
- In § Earthquake, the actual date the earthquake occurred is never mentioned.
- Wikilink Modified Mercalli intensity.
- "By 3 March, 201 aftershocks as small as 1.4 in magnitude" – recommend "By 3 March, 201 aftershocks over 1.3 in magnitude" or "By 3 March, 201 aftershocks measured between 1.4 and x.x in magnitude" if I understand the sentence correctly.
- I reckon the two names of the previously unidentified segment can be mentioned in the text itself.
- "suggest rupture occurred on strand that extended north" – missing a.
- "of up to magnitude 6.2 due to" – recommend "6.2 magnitude" so as to be consistent with the rest of the article.
- "208 educational facilities, 25 health facilities" – change to "208 educational facilities, and 25 health facilities"
- "25 health facilities were damaged." – how about "25 health facilities were also damaged." per the sentence starting with In addition.
- "Rp." – should be changed to "Indonesian rupiah" in its first mention in the lead and body with all subsequent mentions just "rupiah" as most non-Indonesian readers will not know what Indonesia's currency is called.
- "Children and elderly were among the dead." – not noteworthy on its own.
- "A video footage of" – change to "Video footage of"
- "on a river upstream" – do the sources say which river?
- Wikilink hot springs.
- "Shaking was also felt in Singapore. In Singapore, residents" – recommend "Shaking was also felt in Singapore, where residents" for better flow.
- "trapped under a landslide which occurred." – which occurred where?
- In § Response, both flash floods and landslides are already linked earlier in the article.
- "sanitary kits, was also transported." – no need for a comma here.
Refs
[edit]Passes spotcheck on refs 1, 10, 13, 27, 33, 40 and 48. Note I had to use a digital translator for some articles.
- Refs 26 and 45 are both dead URLs.
- Ref 27's publication name should be Kompas.com I believe, to be consistent.
- Ref 35 is not in italics; I think it is in the wrong parameter?
- Refs 40 (should just be Kompas.com), 42 and 45 need better publication names. The other domain titles are okay as those appear to be the official names of those news companies.

- Recommend adding template:Use X English.
- I reckon there are enough external links to warrant using Template:Commons category instead.
- Use template:Cite AV media for the YouTube URL so that it is formatted properly, and add
via=YouTube
. - Change the last external link to say "[URL] at BMKG." for consistency.
