[edit]REDISCOVERBHARAT, You have called this picture "own work". Did you talk the photograph yourself? When exactly did you take it? I mean the date as well as time? The New York Times published a picture of exactly the same angle on the same date, where builings look demolished! -- Kautilya3 (talk) 11:07, 11 May 2022 (UTC)
- The image has been taken from an evidence video. Which was shot by civilians as evidence during the incident and circulated on the internet. Hence, there is no chance of any copyright issue. The authenticity of the image can be verified from the incident videos which are available on the internet. REDISCOVERBHARAT (talk) 12:21, 11 May 2022 (UTC)
- If you have taken it from the "internet", I am afraid you cannot call it "own work". Only the photographs you have taken yourself can be called "own work". -- Kautilya3 (talk) 12:45, 11 May 2022 (UTC)
- The image i took from vedio and the vedio is taken from eyewitness from myself.Further more if it is objectional we can change it from "own work". REDISCOVERBHARAT (talk) 13:10, 11 May 2022 (UTC)

- The New York Times published image is not of the date of violence it is of the day when government took action against the rioters. REDISCOVERBHARAT (talk) 13:15, 11 May 2022 (UTC)
- Yes, I noticed that I misread the date. But my question is still valid. At what time was the picture/video taken, since we know that the demolitions happened that day? -- Kautilya3 (talk) 14:33, 11 May 2022 (UTC)
- I don't understand where the image came from, so I've mentioned it on Commons. Doug Weller talk 15:01, 11 May 2022 (UTC)
- The video was shot on 10 April 2022 between 5 pm to 6 pm on the prime location from where the violence first started . I think there are some misconceptions, Let me make it clear. On 10 April violence took place(stone pelting and arson) and on 11 April the demolition work was done on the places from where the stones were pelted by the district municipal corporation . The image depicts the situation of 10 April of stone pelting and the image published on The Newyork Times is of 11th april a day after Violence . Hope Everything is clear now thank you. .
