Ordering of WD's

[edit]

@Bgsu98: ISU's software always ranks withdrawals as last regardless of other circumstances: [1]. In light of that it is not sustainable to place them in the middle of standings and any other source that does so is simply wrong.--Jasper Deng (talk) 03:42, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That chart you link to shows only the free skate. The chart for the full event - http://www.isuresults.com/results/season2122/ec2022/CAT002RS.htm - shows the WD in the middle of the standings. Skaters who withdraw after having completed the short program and advancing to the free skate, but before completing the free skate, are placed in the middle. As that source demonstrates, as well as the source I provided on the article, and every other figure skating event article on Wikipedia. Bgsu98 (Talk) 03:46, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Either way, depicting Anete as WD when that does not is not valid so I have reverted that. I will re-order the remaining WD.--Jasper Deng (talk) 03:49, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think I know what happened on the SkatingScores website... When Kamila was removed from 1st place, it moved everyone else up by one spot, so Anete moved above the cutoff point when she actually hadn't. I fixed that. Bgsu98 (Talk) 03:54, 3 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
