Emerald fire
[edit]There's a new fire, this time in Laguna Beach in the southern LA area. It's called the Emerald fire. I don't know the acre count or percent contained, can someone find this info and put it with a source?

Keep Sheep Fire?
[edit]The Sheep Fire is less than 1,000 burned acres and contained. So it is below the acres threshold of staying in the list. Shall we keep it because of the mandatory evacuation orders issued? --ElLutzo (talk) 21:06, 21 June 2022 (UTC)
- Well, nevermind. ElLutzo (talk) 20:23, 24 June 2022 (UTC)
Colorado Fire
[edit]According to the table, fires must have "burned more than 1000 acres, produced significant structural damage or casualties, or were otherwise notable". The Colorado fire is less than 1000 acres, did not cause any casualties, and did not produce significant structural damage (1 building isn't enough). Is there any other reason it's still here and shouldn't be removed from the table? Luofbi (talk) 23:49, 2 September 2022 (UTC)
- No, I think someone probably put it there at the beginning of the year when the page was first started and inertia has kept it there. I'll remove it. It probably doesn't really need its own page either... Penitentes (talk) 03:07, 4 September 2022 (UTC)
