Map no.
[edit]I have labeled the column with the event numbers as "Map no." to indicate that these numbers are just being used for the purposes of the maps in this article, not as numbers designated by the PGA Tour. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 16:39, 13 October 2022 (UTC)
- See my comments in my latest edit. Numbering events in the schedule is not something that is done as events are usually not numbered by tours and organisations, also events can change order in the schedule, as has has happened very frequently over the last few years. In regards to the map, maybe a 3/4 letter abbreviation to represent the tournament name would be better and more appropriate than using numbers. Jimmymci234 (talk) 17:17, 13 October 2022 (UTC)
- I think it would be helpful to get User:Ruschear90 involved in this discussion. Whatever else you can say about these numbers, I don't think it makes any sense at all to have the map as we have it now, with 50 numbered items yet without a key to match any of them to the events they correspond to. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 01:28, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
- There has been maps of the locations of tournaments going back to the 1999 PGA Tour season with no numbering. The previous year 2021–22_PGA_Tour#Location_of_tournaments had the same map that's been inputted here with no labels or reference to tournament number in the table. With this one being interactive, if you click on interactive fullscreen map, the numbers do describe which tournament it is. --Ruschear90 (talk) 14:01, 14 October 2022 (UTC)

HSBC Champions
[edit]The HSBC Champions was canceled nearly a month before the schedule was released, and therefore never appeared on the schedule... is it actually necessary to include it in the table? pʰeːnuːmuː → pʰiːnyːmyː → ɸinimi → fiɲimi 05:29, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
- Most of the schedule is fixed long before the official release. Including PGA Tour events with confirmed dates seems reasonable, even if they were cancelled prior to the announcement. wjematherplease leave a message... 10:34, 28 December 2022 (UTC)
Tom Kim or Kim Joo-hyung
[edit]I can see in the article that link is Kim Joo-hyung but I am wondering whether this should be updated in the winners table to Tom Kim to better reflect the common name that is used. His PGA tour profile is in the name of Tom Kim and I think he is better known by that name (particularly in English language articles) than Kim Joo-hyung. Tracland (talk) 13:13, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
- See Talk:Kim Joo-hyung#Requested move 24 September 2022 Jimmymci234 (talk) 17:37, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks. Not sure I agree with the arguments there but note consensus has recently been reached so probably makes sense to disregard this request. Tracland (talk) 19:06, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
- (Clarification- no consensus was reached but no change made to the name following the review in the main article). Tracland (talk) 19:11, 9 January 2023 (UTC)

FedEx Rankings
[edit]At what point in the season do we thing a FedEx cup ‘live’ ranking table makes sense to be included? Tracland (talk) 10:43, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
