Merge 2019-20 Irani Cup article...
[edit]into this one, as per ESPN Cricinfo the match between Saurashtra v ROI, will open 22-23 edition. Rock Stone Gold Castle (talk) 12:19, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
@Kirubar: Isn't match between Saurashtra v ROI is part of 2022-23, I cup? I saw on television it was showing, in title. If it part of 22-23 then that article's title is worng and it should merge in this article? Rock Stone Gold Castle (talk) 13:38, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
@Rock Stone Gold Castle: Even though it's an opening match as CI mentioned, as per their match Report ROI were given the 29th title. How do you include 30th title (next match in 2023) in same page? For understanding all notes citations were given. 2019–20 Ranji Trophy winners in Irani Trophy is the main stay here, if you take that into 2022–23 season it will cause more confusion. Television and Cricinfo added both matches under single tournament for managing purpose. We're keeping and verifying the facts here. If we include that here, 29th and 30th titles in same season? How can one understand that in future? Already Indian domestic articles lack documentation and connectivity. That's my opinion about this. Kirubar (talk) 13:47, 4 October 2022 (UTC)
