Jone Wesele

[edit]

@Bs1jac: You mentioned that you think the Jone Wesele captaining Fiji here is the former rugby league player. That indeed is difficult to confirm, but I have found these pictures of Jone Wesele: the rugby league player, the cricketer (don't know if you have seen these before though). They don't look like the same person here to me, but you can check these and that might help confirm. মাশ্‌ফী※Mashfi (ETP) 01:39, 10 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Mashfi23 Hi, i dont especially think they are the same, but worth checking later. There are also a few potential duplicates in the event when they finally load the games. weird thing is the match numbers at the Asia Cup leave gaps for this... its like they have it but its invisible! @Bs1jac: Somehow, they actually managed to avoid duplicate profiles for the most part! But again- there's the case of Taitoe Kaisala/Uala Taitoe Kaisala, and Ma'ara Ave is still listed as a New Zealand player meaning that a duplicate might yet come. And Jone Wesele already had a duplicate profile from before, of course (I guess I can try to tell them about it) মাশ্‌ফী※Mashfi (ETP) 09:22, 10 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Mashfi23 Thanks, yeah I have been through most of them this morning correcting a few spellings and didnt see any new duplicates. Bs1jac (talk) 09:25, 10 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

And apparently, Jone Wesele has two profiles in ESPNcricinfo too: [1], [2] মাশ্‌ফী※Mashfi (ETP) 01:40, 10 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
