SE Queensland floods
[edit]The scope of the floods have extended into the QLD border, to the Gold Coast and Brisbane. If the floods get severe there, should this article include the events there and be renamed to 2021 eastern Australian floods? I was actually thinking of doing it now, but I thought the floods in SE QLD are still not that significant (meaning no houses have been submerged and the damages are not that exensive, at least not yet). What do you think? ~ Shaqeeta (talk) 12:24, 22 March 2021 (UTC)
- It's been moved to March 2021 Australian floods by Difficultly north (talk · contribs). 220 of ßorg 23:42, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
- And now to 2021 Eastern Australian floods by JMonkey2006 (talk · contribs) 220 of ßorg 13:12, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
Map
[edit]A map would be very useful showing the extent of the floods! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.100.232.96 (talk) 11:05, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
Yes i might add that Communisma (talk) 07:36, 29 March 2021 (UTC)
Request to add a redirect
[edit]Request to add a redirect for the search term "Great Flood of 2021" as this is the great flood of 2021 being a very bad flood that is said to be a 1 in 60-100 year flood, the same happened for Louisiana in the Great flood of 2016. DXLB Muzikant (talk) 13:39, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
- If that term becomes commonplace by the end of the year, then sure! Facts707 (talk) 22:11, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
- I agree with Facts707, the flooding in Australia has not reached the proportion of other floods to warrant changing the name to the 'Great Flood of 2021'. If the flooding continues, then we can revisit the request. Jurisdicta (talk) 03:18, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
