Race 1 superscripts
[edit]Hello. I've lately been involved in edit warring with 111.92.0.158 (talk) and I've had enough of it. I initially made an edit ([1]) adding race 1 superscripts, and writing "Do NOT delete superscripts for any race 1. They represent qualifying 1 results, which account for championship points that can not be inferred from the results." on the edit summary. This user ignored it and kept undoing my every revision with no justification. They've just done this for the third time ([2]) so I've decided to forward it to someone with more Wikipedia experience than me. My feeling is that they should be blocked from editing, but a third opinion and/or any action against this user would be much appreciated.
Furthermore, I'd like to use this section to highlight that, in case anyone else is willing to delete these superscripts: they represent the top 5 of qualifying 1, which does not determine the grid for any race, but accounts for championship points and should therefore appear in the championship standings, as these points can not be inferred from the other results. --79.155.118.107 (talk) 21:12, 16 October 2020 (UTC)
Capitalisation
[edit]It should be noted that as neither Cupra nor Lukoil are acronyms the worlds should not be capitalised. Refer Wikipedias manual of style for capital letters. --Falcadore (talk) 02:16, 19 October 2020 (UTC)
- Again, please User:79.155.118.107 stop with the excessive capitalisation. Refer just by way of example to wikipedia's articles on Lukoil and SEAT Cupra. --Falcadore (talk) 11:05, 23 October 2020 (UTC)
- It's not excessive capitalisation, it's appropriate capitalisation. Opposite to what you said, CUPRA and LUKOIL are acronyms. Nonetheless I'll stop reverting your edits so as to abide by the three-revert rule. And because it's pointless too. --80.26.203.73 (talk) 15:39, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
- Edit: just for clarity, I'm User:79.155.118.107, IP has changed. --80.26.203.73 (talk) 0:31, 25 October 2020 (UTC)
