Linking in Tennessee Senate election page with the upper house map

[edit]

To whom it may concern: I have been developing the page for the Tennessee Senate elections for this year. However, I want to link this page in with the state legislative upper chambers map, and I am clueless as to how I can do that. When I click on the state of Tennessee, it gives me the option of creating a page for the 2020 Tennessee State Senate election. The article I have worked on is titled 2020 Tennessee Senate election, and I believe it is this typographical difference which is preventing this page from being tied in. Would anyone be able to fix this? It would truly be appreciated! Count Awesome (talk) 12:38, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think I fixed it. For future reference, here is the page that needs to be edited, and you can see the edit I made here Orser67 (talk) 19:56, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Issues with HTML map

[edit]

I've noticed a problem related to the previous topic brought up in December 2020 and I feel it is big enough to merit its own topic. It seems the map showing the winning party in each state legislature links to the wrong pages. The map for the upper chambers always links to "2020 [X State] State Senate election", which sometimes doesn't exist. In many cases, the page that should be linked is "2020 [X State] Senate election".

You can more easily understand the issue by clicking on various states yourself. Can someone please fix this by linking the correct pages? Editorsince99 (talk) 02:23, 11 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
