Infobox and lede

[edit]
  • Comma after "The event had a total prize pool of €38,000"
  • Comma after "The men's event was won by Jayson Shaw"
  • Switch the first two sentences of the second paragraph for better flow (e.g. defending champion eliminated → new winner)

Tournament format

[edit]
  • Why is the name of the hotel italicized here?
  • Specify in this section that it's nine-ball pool, which is mentioned in the lede but not in the body
  • Not a fan of the semi-colon after "double-elimination tournament", as the second half is not actually an independent clause.
  • Move "7–5" to after "Marharyta Fefilava" rather than at the end of the sentence, for better clarity

Prize fund

[edit]

Tournament summary

[edit]
  • Is it "losers round" or "loser's round"? Both are used at different points
  • Comma after "Oliwia Zalewska"
  • Remove comma after "completed two 7–6 victories"
  • "defeated" used twice in the sentence beginning "Having defeated Bojana Sarac" and is used again in the next sentence. Should use a synonym to break up flow
  • Per MOS:CAPTION, since it's a complete sentence, the caption should end with a period
  • No comma needed after "Ouschan won the final"
  • Hyphen to en dash in the last sentence

General comments

[edit]
  • No stability concerns within the revision history
  • One photo, relevant and properly licensed
  • Per MOS:IMAGELOCATION, the photo used should probably be on the right side
    • I was working on It is often preferable to place images of people so that they "look" toward the text, but do not achieve this by reversing the image, which creates a false presentation, which is why it's on the left, but I can't say I care either way. • Earwig score looks great at 2.9%
