Open or closed?

[edit]

https://www.thegreenpapers.com/P20/TX-D says theyve switched to a closed primary. Soap 02:13, 24 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Well, every other source I can find says it's open, so I'm going to say it's open. But maybe we shouldn't be linking to Green Papers if they're wrong about something like this. Soap 22:46, 24 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Uncounted ballots

[edit]

Shouldn't this page reflect the state of ballot counting? We now know roughly 10% of the ballots cast have yet to be counted.

Dallas County asks to recount Super Tuesday election results after 44 thumb drives discovered

I was curious about this too. It appears the recount is completed[1], and "didn't swing any races," but may affect delegate allocation. Currently there's no mention of the recount at all. djr13 (talk) 22:10, 13 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It finished up and the Dallas county site has the new numbers Biden really got 40.66% of the vote there gaining a small bit out of the 9k previously missed vote. It should likely be updated with the new numbers and the backstory. Tat (talk) 12:48, 14 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Demographics?

[edit]

It says there was a higher turnout for black and Latino voters but where are those stats? 69.26.146.68 (talk) 01:53, 23 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Rfc notice

[edit]

Editors of this page are encouraged to participate in an Rfc on Talk:2020 Democratic Party presidential primaries pertaining to the infobox of this page and all state by state primary pages. The Rfc is about candidates who have withdrawn. Smith0124 (talk) 00:47, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of 2020 Texas Democratic presidential primary's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "WithdrewBeforeST" in group "lower-alpha":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 15:18, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
